Hunger games review

HIS SERIES IS AMAZING!!!!

                                                    THE HUNGER GAMES REVIEW
Somewhere in the future in a place called Panem (the present United States) there is a government so cruel it kills to entertain. An Annual T.V show. 24 contestants. A deadly arena designed with death in mind. The only way to win: be the last survivor. What would you do to survive the hunger games?
It’s a difficult question, I know, one that forced me to read this book and try to find the best solution. However I discovered that there is a lot more to this gripping novel then what I initially intended to uncover.
The hunger games by Suzanne Collins is Set in a time when things have gone pretty downhill for the human race. Dominated by the people of the capitol, the other citizens of Panem are forced to live in 12 districts all working to serve the ruling city. To remind the people of its superiority 2 ‘victors’ are chosen from each district to take part in the hunger games. We experience this ordeal through the eyes of Katniss Everdeen A smart, skilled huntress 16 year old from district twelve .Being from the poorest district she despises the capitol and is devoted to her family, volunteering for the game when her sister’s name gets pulled out of the draw. Complicating her situation is katniss’s growing affection for fellow victor Peeta Mellark. But can she really have feelings for someone she will have to defeat? And what about Gale, her best friend back home. How would he feel? The love triangle between the 3 of them is pretty standard teen stuff; what 16 year old girl wouldn’t like to have 2 interesting boys to choose from (Don’t fret it’s not another typical Edward vs. Jacob scenario).  The rest of this book however is filled with action from the moment the 24 victors are to enter the arena and fight for their lives. But when the other victors are mostly ruthless and ready to kill will katniss’s hunting skills be enough for her to come out on top? Fast paced and generating constant suspence this book it is no less than addictive.  As for the result of the hunger games? Well you’ll just have to read the book and find out. Though I will warn you with 2 sequels to this remarkable story be sure to expect a terrifying cliff-hanger. And like I mentioned earlier there are no blood sucking vampires or topless werewolves in sight.
